Kommetjie accommodation

The Accommodation choices highlighted below are not particularly recommended or endorsed by us over other choices in the area. They are simply random choices that we have happened to post here. We hope eventually to have a fairly comprehensive list for Kommetjie, but there is a lot of holiday accommodation available in the village. The Kommetjie Accommodation website has lovely and well presented  information about the village and the surrounding area. The venue we have chosen for the January 2012 workshop is about 5km distance from the village, but if we have a lot of participants from overseas, we may well organise a shuttle bus between the village and the venue each day.

The House of Braganza is very close to Gifted Dyslexic, and reasonable prices (Single - R 620.00 in high season). It is within 2 minute walk from Kommetjie beach.



5 Pelican Place is a self-catering family guesthouse at Long Beach, Kommetjie, sleeping from 2-6 people in a choice of two garden apartments practically on Kommetjie beach, 5 minute walk from Gifted Dyslexic. Prices range from R450 (low season) per night for a unit sleeping two, to R1.500 (high season) for a unit sleeping up to 6.

Klein Slangkop Guesthouse is within easy 5-10 minute walking distance from Gifted Dyslexic and if some people are sharing self catering, it could be an option with prices of 1000R for a room sleeping 2-3.
